Few Words Left

I wish I could walk,

Straight into your arms,

After a week like this,

When I’ve used all my words,

At work,

Doing my best to meet the deadlines.

Now I barely have a few words left,

That silently whisper,

In between the scribbles of my notes,

Which will remain unread,

By you,

As I live my days without your sunshine.
