Invisible Bubble

I find myself pushing,

A little of me everyday,

Outside of this invisible bubble,

That surrounds me lately.

The more I step out of it,

The more I want to stay in it,

Safe, protected, invisible,

From the world that is going on faster than I want.

Yet, I’m somehow managing,

To stay afloat and out of the bubble,

Safe, scared, vulnerable,

And definitely worried to fall in pieces when I break.
