Mute The Noises

I want to mute the tick-tock of the clock,

And all the noises of my block,

For I want someone to listen to me,

Listen as I say,

Listen to me only,

Without having anything to say.

For I want to say,

So much that I don’t know how,

In all this noise of everyone,

And everything that’s been happening about.

All I want to listen is,

The beat of your heart,

As you hold me close,

Until even muted clock stops.
