Sand In My Pocket

I never realised,

That I had these tiny sand grains in my pocket,

Like I never realised,

I was making all the memories that day,

Without the slightest worry about,

How the next day would turn out.

Because I knew,

That the deserts now echoed with our laughter,

The laughter I carried home in my pocket.
