Stone Cold Heart

I’m sitting with my friends,

Catching up on what’s going on in their lives,

But, I listen to them with a filter,

As my mind keeps repeating the song,

Which played when I danced with the stranger.

The song’s continuous beats,

Synchronizes with my heart,

But now it’s warmth is gone,

The beat remains though,

Of the stone cold heart.
