Worth The Feeling

The midnight is long gone,

As I tip-toe my way towards the bed,

After hopeful meetings gone bad,

Dejected, yet burning with a fire of hope.

The moonlight glistens your face,

As you rhythmically breathe in peace,

And it is in that moment when I feel that,

Everything in the world is worth the feeling I feel then.

Something between relief and belief

Something like peace and faith,

Something for a moment and forever,

Something to love and live.
