Words and Rituals

Maybe if I never started writing,

Then maybe I wouldn't be in so much pain,

To carry these words and rituals,

Burning myself over and over again,

And then probably you wouldn't be here,

Looking out for me,

Like the words mean something,

Like I do mean something.
