Zaid and Roohi

“You know they say, eyes never lie.”

“Yeah, so I’ve heard.”

“Hmmm. Is that why you’re avoiding looking at me now?”

“Zaid, I’m reading a book. It’s the last chapter!”

“Is that so? Then, why are you reading the book from the middle?”

“Oh, that! I’m searching for something a character said.”

“Roohi, you and I both know you cannot lie. Why are you avoiding looking at meeee?”

“Urgh, for the same reason you want me to look at you.”

“And, what is that?”

“That, when you look at someone you love, your pupils dilate.”

“I didn’t know you knew it! Looook at me! I want to see that happening. Oh, let’s go out. Your eyes will look beautiful in the sun.”

“Do we really have to do this? It’s like I’m back in school trying to prove a theorem with a hypothesis.”

“Well, you’ve to prove this theory right.”

“What do you mean, I’ve to prove it right?”

“Oh, come on! Who are we kidding here? You love me, don’t you?”

“I never said that!”

“You don’t have to say the exact words, Roohi. Your actions say it all. So, come on, prove the science right!”

“What if you’re wrong?”

“I’m not. Come on.”

“But, what if?”

“Then, I’ll make you look into my eyes and prove science right.”

P.S.: Got the idea for this blog in a dream. Yes, I’m dreaming of writing now! 😂
