Dream But Reality

Even if it was a dream,

It didn't feel any different from reality,

Me in the train,

Sitting by the window,

Towards a place I don't know,

And you,

Outside of it,

Protected by your helmet,

Standing by,

Looking at me,

Waving at you as you pass by.

And there's this initial confusion,

But then a familiar recognition,

And warmth that we had a chance,

To cross each other's path,

Like this and that.

And I'm anticipating the moment you see me,

To call you and wave at you,

Like a final goodbye,

With nothing but warmth in my heart too,

To accept and then let go,

The way we crossed each other's path,

Like this and that.
