Highs-Lows

I’ve been riding the highs,

I’ve been falling in the lows,

All in a day and,

I don’t know where this all goes.

The efforts that matter,

Of words sifted and curated,

And the ones unsaid,

Making me all low-spirited.

So tell me if,

It’s okay to feel so much,

As the mind wanders through places,

Missing your touch.
