Insignificance Of Memories

The small changes that keep on happening everyday,

Are significant in their own way,

Like how the days change,

From Monday to Tuesday,

With just a strike of a hand,

And how we flip the calendar,

From August to September,

So non-chalantly without skepticism,

Going on with the everyday life,

Until we sit back with our thoughts,

And reminisce a moment,

Be it happy or sad,

Funny or embarrassing,

Then we realise,

That it actually happened in January,

Not yesterday,

Nine months ago,

Not nine days back,

And how life seems so vast,

Just like the horizon,

But muffled into the fragments of our memories,

Running in our blood all day,

Every day.
