Between Hope and Reality

Hope is something that keeps us going in this life,

But it is the reality that keeps us alive,

So, when I think what lies in between the two?

It’s belief that gets us through.

I don’t know if I believe anymore,

For there’s little hope and reality is too gore,

The belief that everything will fall in place,

Is too less for us to embrace.
