This Moment Of My Life

I'm scribbling this on a tissue paper,

Under dim lights of the cafe,

Hearing to everyone's voice, happy and cheerful,

Living their best life,

In that moment at least,

Along with the cricket commentary,

Right in the middle of the mountains.

I never imagined myself here,

With all these people,

Whose hearts radiate with warmth and kindness always,

Making me feel super selfish and heartless.

I wonder, where I lost myself,

On which turn,

On which road,

Of which city,

In which state,

On which mountain.

And how,

How did I lose so much of myself,

That now,

Recognising my own reflection in the mirror is terribly difficult and unbelievable.

I think I was a good person before all this,

I hope I can become a better one, soon.
