Carry You

I can only carry you along,

Until you follow me around,

For I'm not dragging unnecessary baggage,

Any further with me anymore.

But, I'll always carry a piece of you,

In my heart,

Wherever I go,

However further it is from you,

And you'll always have room,

Wherever I'm staying,

For a day or night two,

But the moment you decide,

To weigh more than it is allowed,

I'll leave you behind,

With the local dogs,

And not come back,

For I'll know your address,

And you'll not know me,

Even with the same faded dress.
