Lapete hai saare gile-shikwe,

Ussi duppatte ke kone mein,

Jisne aansu mere seenche hai,

Tere hi diye hue.


Gaanth lagakar rakhi hai,

Taaki bikhar na jaaye,

Masoomiyat mein,

Saare chhal-kapat jo maine tujhse jhele hai.


Odha hai wahi duppatta badan par,

Bachakar rakhne ke liye,

Dil ke tukde,
