Heavy Day's Survival Kit

In a world full of heavy days,

I find solace in my dreams,

Where I'm wrapped up in your arms,

Safe, warm and away,

From all the distractions of these worldly affairs,

And the only thing matters is listening to your every heartbeat,

Sometimes slow, sometimes fast,

Sometimes so near it feels like my own,

(how poetic it is to feel someone else's heartbeat as their own, uff)

Sometimes that's the only thing I hear,

Until I have to remind my own heart to keep beating,

To survive the world full of heavy days.
