I Wish

I wish for simple thoughts,

I wish for clarity,

I wish for communication, clear and straight,

I wish for seats on planes,

Taking me to places far away,

I wish for stories,

Mine and theirs,

I wish for morsels earned fair,

I wish for hugs long and warm,

I wish to hear heartbeats loud and strong,

I wish for ambition, the never-ending curiosity,

I wish for art and wherever it takes me,

I wish for simple things,

Like days in the mountains and evenings on the beach,

I wish for me to be a better person everyday.
