Kyunki agar mai nahi gayi toh mai yahin ghut-ghut kar mar jaungi,

Issi kamre ki chaar diwaari mein chinwa di jaungi,

Tehravi manzil ki khidki si aankho par patti baandkar kood jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh kabhi phir nahi ja paungi,

Nahi gayi toh yaha rehkar kya hi kar jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh fir mai aage kaise jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh mai pagal ho jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh fir mai apne aap ko sheeshe mein dekh bas roti jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh fir aise kaise mai jeeti jaungi,

Nahi gayi toh mai phas jaungi.

Reh jaungi,

Seh jaungi,

Tadap jaungi.
