Midnight Thoughts

Thoughts I had while travelling on the highway at midnight:

• maybe it's easier to talk to a stranger about all the messes in your life because you'll never see them again.

it's a possibility that you crave an authentic connection with someone/anyone so bad that you are ready to remove the "i'm strong" mask and be the most vulnerable self you, yourself have ever witnessed.

but, remember, you'll probably not see the stranger again but you'll always crave for that vulnerable self.

• patakha guddi sounds 100x good when you're listening to it while cruising on a highway.

• the journey > the destination

• the people on the journey > people at the destination

• the conversations on the journey give you so much insight about the person and if you want to spend time with them at the destination or not.

• some midnight travel journeys give you a reality check in the most unexpected and surprising ways.

• it's important to have someone's shoulder/lap to lay your head on, on midnight travel journeys; even if you cannot sleep in a moving vehicle, the presence of someone trustworthy by your side gives you relief. and the silent whispered conversations when everyone's asleep are wholesome to another level.

• songs are important.
