It's just me,

And my silly little heart,

Not giving up,

Despite deciding to,

Finally, eternally,

Yet somehow,

Grasping for the tiny rope,

Thrown unexpectedly.

To follow that light,

To hold on to that glimmer,

Even if you can't see anything else.

So, here's my silly, little, broken and healing heart,

Holding on,

To whatever this is,

Because maybe,

Just maybe,

I'll find the girl again,

Whose love language is to write poems.
