Reminiscing Forts

As I visit,

Century old forts,

With decapitated walls,

Right in the middle of the sea,

I wonder how it really would be,

The thick pillars holding up the roof,

The stone gleaming,

And some cosy, shadowed nooks,

With trees to witness the history of time,

Until someone like me visits,

To stop for a while,

Reminiscing all the old forgotten times.
