Signs Are Clear

The signs were pretty clear today,

When they said, "Decision are portals"

Right when I needed to decide on something,

The next set of words I saw then said, "You have to break the cycle today or the pattern will repeat tomorrow"

And these ones keep reverberating in my head,

"If you don't do this for yourself, who will"

And I would do it for myself and for you too.

I would walk in the heavy rain,

And get all the ingredients required to make the best sandwich ever.

I would do it for myself not because there is no one else to do it for me even if I ask for it,

But, because, I cannot disappoint myself,

And every incompetence is a step away from me,

So, don't ask me why I feel further away,

But, it's only because I stepped towards my own self.

Decision are portals, yes.

Every decision unlocks a new timeline,

But, I keep deciding for you,

And I don't know what anymore to do,

When it comes to me.
