Today's City

A magnet or a handicraft,

Is as much a souvenir of a place,

As your memories.

So, for today's city,

I will remember,

The lanes you walk every night,

And the lanes you don't go anymore,

The places you say hi,

And the ones that say hi to you,

The corners with the best sev-puri,

And some things I have had never heard before.

For today's city,

I will remember my cluelessness,

For I lived in the moment so much,

For today's city I will remember us,

Roaming in the rain all alone.
