Words Said/Unsaid

I said it out loud last night,

Unknowingly that I’m saying it.

So, when I realized I said it,

I looked around hoping no one heard it.

But, the universe did,

And now I’m seeing my words everywhere I look.

Wanting me to accept them as they are,

With all the intensity that they carry,

With all the meaning that they hold,

Wanting me to say them again,

But, this time, when someone is actually listening,

So that they become real,

So that the feeling becomes real,

More than it felt last night.
