I don’t need a day’s empowerment,

A day full of adjectives which you don’t mean,

A day full of freedom which you’ll the next day steal,

A day full of smiles which I no longer feel.

I need a life without fear,

A life where no one bumps and walks clear,

A life where no one stares while at my rear,
