There hasn’t been a single day in the last year when I didn’t think about how lovely you were as a person.

There hasn’t been a single time I forgot about the small thing you taught me in all the years you loved me.

There hasn’t been a single moment when I felt that you’re not there waiting for me to come home and eat the sweets you made.

There hasn’t been a single occasion when I thought of you and my eyes didn’t tear up.

It’s been a year, yet it seems like yesterday.
