A Want, No Obligation

Today I walked,

3.96 kms and told the universe,

Not to pour down cold rain on me,

Until I'm back under the roof.

Meanwhile, my heart kept telling my brain,

How it wanted to be felt ,

Without asking someone to consider it,

How it wanted to feel special,considered

Not out of obligation but because they really wanted to show it,

And how it wanted to hold on to something,

And wanting something holding on to it,

Because it is worth holding on to.
