A Year
A year changes so much in you.
A year ago today, I didn’t know where my life would lead me to.
I didn’t know how much worse it could turn out to be than it already was.
I didn’t know how much in trouble I was stepping into than I already was.
I didn’t know where I would stand a year from 11th June, 2018.
The only thing I knew was, I had to do it.
No choice, no option, no ifs, no buts.
But, to take a chance and see how many headed dog was waiting for me to pass through the trap door of happiness.
A year changes everything though.
It lifts you from a depressed mood to a happy one.
It makes you want to get out of bed in the morning.
It makes you look forward to something.
It makes you happy.
It makes you lively.
It makes you different.
A year, that’s all.
