You think I still miss you,

When I'm sitting silent at night?

Right before I sleep?

Right after I wake up?

I miss you when I create something new,

And I have to show it to someone for the first time,

And I remember, I can't.

I miss you when I do something I told you I would do,

But, you're no longer here,

To clap for my achievements.

I miss you when I have so much to say,

And I have no one to hear it.
