Ditched Words

After 40 minutes of staring at my screen,

I realise that my words ditched me,

When I woke up in the morning,

So, when I forming sentences like a 5 year-old,

I remembered all the days,

When words just took over me,

And framed sentences I didn’t know I could write.

Being able to write is a blessing,

And I worship the words,

Yet often they cause the death of me.

Like, today.
