Do You Ever?

Do you ever miss someone so bad,

That it physically hurts you?

Every vein in every muscle,

Hurts to carry the blood to the heart,

Which is already hurting so much.

Do you ever miss someone so bad,

That the lyrics of the songs stab you?

Every inch of your skin,

Has goosebumps and chills,

Which is already hurting so much.

Do you ever miss someone so bad,

That even the saddest poems don’t seem sad enough?

Every word you write is simply a bruise,

On your cold skin,

Which is already hurting so much.
