Dream Day

Today seemed like a great day,

To sit under the old tree,

Out in the middle of nowhere,

With lush green grass,

And cows mooing at distance,

Staring at the blue sky,

As clouds float by,

Reading old poetry books,

Singing old songs,

Lying all day,

With you,

Watching time go by,

Slowly and merrily,

Until night draws,

Yet conversations go on,

As stars shine on us.
