There’s only one time that something can happen for the first time.

If that first time is screwed up by any external circumstances which cannot be controlled by you then the experience of living that first time the next time will definitely be less happier than it would have been the first time.

There have been many first times lived ceremoniously and there have been many first times stolen away from me recently to just resurface my miserable, pessimist self.
