Forget Me Nots

Her soul keeps visiting those places,

Over and over again,

Where she has left her heart behind,

In fort corners for the memories to remain.

Now her poetry casts shadows,

Step by step in every lane,

Following her through arched courtyards,

Where kings and queens once used to reign.

Speaking to Greek Gods offering forget-me-nots,

Running through facades in thundering rain,

She lives to write every day in poetry,

For all the memories to remain.

Marking 1600th blog with this poetry.
