Hold On

I hold on to people,

Even though they leave.

I hold on to memories,

Even though they hurt.

I hold on to feelings,

Because I can’t let go.

I hold on to every bad thing you said to me,

But, only until you realise that you hurt me.

I’ll hold on,

And sometimes you’ll never even know about it.

I’ll hold on,

And you’ll just move on.

I’ll hold on,

Nevertheless.
