I Don't Love You

When I say I don't love you,

I will try to mean it,

Specially when I ask,

How was your day,

And tell you to give me the longer version of your answer.

Specially when I send you reminders,

For random, mundane things of life,

Without you telling me to do it,

And secretly hoping,

You're not annoyed by it.

Specially when I explicitly say,

I don't love you,

Half convincing you,

And half me,

Making my heart believe,

That I, really don't love you,

Even when everything else might suggest otherwise.

I hope you believe me,

Because I have started to mean it,

Specially when I say,

I don't love you.

Walking Over The Pieces

Pieces of my heart, Are scattered like shattered glass, And I'm walking all over them, Remembering our memories, Wondering if they were real, Or just stories I created in my own head.
