I Was Sky Today

The moment I opened my eyes today,

A smile formed on my lips,

I saw the blue sky today,

With white clouds like sailing ships.

I chose to be the sky then,

Happy and in color blue,

I spoke like the sky then,

With warmth even in this hue.

You came by like the sun for,

Adding a touch of glitter,

Breathing in the sky for,
