In Motion

Everything is a result of,

An action set in motion,

Leading one thing,

To infinite other things,

Creating this never-ending,

Domino effect,

For reasons unknown,

But, purposes many.

Like I live to love,

Love leads to poetry,

My poetic words cause heartbreak,

And you know how it goes on,

To more poetry,

And more words,

And more heartbreak that follows,

Until life ends.

But, even then,

The events set in motion,

By someone ages and centuries ago,

Go on,

Without me,

Creating new actions,

New reactions,

New love stories,

New poetries,

New heartbreaks,

And you know how it goes.

Events set in motion,
