Inquilab

When the brave hearts like Bhagat Singh,

Raised their voices and echoed the land,

With slogans of Inquilab,

They lit a fire in souls like me,

To not let darkness,

Overrule feelings,

Of supression,

Of oppression.

Then when you tell me,

To keep my words to myself,

To observe and to listen,

To react and not act,

The fire flickers,

Waiting to be blown,

Into a rage,

Full of words I deeply mean,

To say them out loud,

For a reaction to the act,

I strongly believe.

So I’ll start an Inquilab,

Just like Bhagat Singh did,

And sacrifice too,

Rather than be still,

Because fighters like us,

Cannot be kept away from the battlefield.
