It Wasn’t Love

I realised it wasn’t love,

Then when I thought only I was the one,

Feeling special all day, all night,

But you proved me wrong just after reading the poems I write.

I realised it wasn’t love,

Then when I thought I found,

Someone so perfectly right,

But you proved me wrong even before reading the poems I write.

I realised it wasn’t love,

Then when I thought this time I’ll fall,

In love together without putting a fight,

But you proved me wrong ignoring all the poems I write.

I realised it wasn’t love,

All the love I thought was love,

Then what is love I ask the universe hopeful and bright,

But it’s just proving love wrong in all the poems I write.

Question: What according to you is love?
