If I’ve learnt something in this unusual day,

Then it’s probably that the world sees you with different eyes,

The ones which you don’t know exist,

Alluring and aspiring,

For something more than you know.

Inspiring and empowering,

The soul like no one ever.

Loving and caring,

For who you are.

Scandalous and hurting,

Enough to leave an impression.

I’ve learnt that burdens can be lightened,

Even with perspectives divided.

I’ve learnt that choices are to be made,

To reach somewhere unwandered.

I’ve learnt that some things are not easy to let go,
