Light Years

All I could do was to stare at the stars,

Twinkling some light years away,

Wondering why I couldn’t sleep.

Silence prevailed,

Not that I expected any answers,

From the stars;

Even if they answered,

I would not know,

Until light years away.

So, I flipped right,

And then left,

Wondering if you will remember me,
