Love and Strength

“It just feels like yesterday that I held you in my arms the first time and now look at you”

He told me two days ago,

Remembering the first time,

He held me as a baby,

That he thinks how it was just yesterday,

That I was so tiny to be wrapped up in his arms,

And now, looking at me,

All so grown up.

How, time flied,

How, today, I am who I am,

How, selfless, he is,

How, we learn, without being taught,

Honesty, Love and Compassion,

How, we are thankless for,

Support, Togetherness and Strength.

Words aren’t enough for the love and strength of fathers.
