Not A Rom-Com
Life looked like a rom-com movie today,
Where the whole world is drenching in rain,
And the sun is shining only on me,
As I dance my way towards work,
Smiling at strangers,
Singing to myself,
Believing in the magic of love,
Until I bump into someone,
And everything comes crumbling down.
The rain,
The work,
The smiles.
And since life is really not a rom-com movie,
That someone doesn’t help with an umbrella,
Or doesn’t make work easier,
Or even tries to make you smile.
But, since life is not a rom-com movie,
It doesn’t end with a happy ending,
But is continued,
For a better plotline.
