You weren’t here,

Until you actually were,

Again in the thoughts,

Not in person otherwise.

I wonder,

If you are real,

In the pictures I see?

What if I’ve made you up,

Like a castle besides the sea?

One wave and you’re gone,

One thought and you’re on,

My mind again today.

You weren’t here,

But you were too,

Not in thoughts,

But in the heart otherwise.
