Now and Then

Every now and then,

I carry this weight on me,

Heavier than the last time,

Lighter, it makes me feel

And everytime,

It comes back,

With greater intensity.

Every now and then,

I wish I could drop it off,

At some place I don’t know,

But I’m afraid of getting lost,

And everytime,

I find a way back,

I realise I haven’t really moved anywhere.
