Poetry and Inspiration

If words came as naturally as the heart beats,

Imagine the flood of poetry in the world!

Everyone believing in love a little more,

Everyone being heartbroken a little more,

Everyone finding someone who writes the same way as them.

But, then everyone would be poets,

And poetry, conversations.

Thus, it takes a momentary pause,

In the beating of the heart,

For poetry to form,

Otherwise,

From where would inspiration come,

If everyone would rhyme their minds away.
