Risky Texts

I could define today’s feeling in two words,

Risky Texts.

That’s right.

You know that feeling,

That haunts you,

Before you have to send a risky text,

Without an unsend option?

That feeling.

I felt it the entire day,

Squeamish, scary and,

Ready to be swallowed by the earth,

Once it’s sent,

With no way to retrieve it back,

The risky text,

It’s a feeling.
