Dino din raat hai yeh

Jo dil ki baat hai yeh,

Keh jaaye toh kahin keh na jaye,

Buzdil ke zasbaat hai yeh,

Aakar fir jo thehar na paaye,

Mehmaano ki baat hai yeh,

Dino din raat hai yeh,

Meethi si saugaat hai yeh.

Day, night, all the time,

It’s something that the heart wouldn’t mind,

Something to say, something to do,

Scared much, what to do?

To someone who comes but never stays,

Like a guest who ever nays,
