From buzzing traffic,

And useless chatter,

The phones ringing,

And countless clutter,

An escape for the mind,

A path of thoughts to find,

Shielded like a soldier,

Soothes like a friend’s shoulder.

Sounds like the ocean waves,

And like the rhythm of leaves,

The patter of rainfall on the window,

It’s not just a melody.
